Things I can remember is that at some point near the beginning of the story, a warrant is issued for Jim's arrest and it is leaked to the press but the sort of sneak him out the back way and put him in a cell alone. Ok it is an AU and a prison fic, Blair is referred to as the Shamen by his fellow inmates and feared, and Jim comes in later and Blair sort of adopts him, I remember that Blair's mom sends cookies and Simon is trying to get Jim to turn informer on Blair and in the end they escape with help from Kincade and his patriots.

I'd like to find stories where Jim or Blair is a lawyer.  I think I remember one where Jim successfully defends Blair in a retrial where Blair had been accused of murdering a child, even though Blair had been attacked as well.  Blair didn't get a fair trial the first time since he'd been an unregistered guide ( Read more... )
